Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

This grant provides aid to students with exceptional financial need and gives priority to students who receive Federal Pell Grants. The amount of the award depends upon the financial resources of the individual and his or her parents and the funding provided to Lanier Technical College by the U.S. Department of Education. Lanier Technical College awards these funds semesterly and limits individuals to one semester of FSEOG until all those with a 0 EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) have been awarded. If funds are remaining, students may receive additional awards. FSEOG is awarded based on a first come first serve basis based on registration until all funds are exhausted. Students may apply by completing the FAFSA.
