General Policy

The admissions policy and procedures of the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia and Lanier Technical College ensures the citizens of Georgia equal access to the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to secure personally satisfying and socially productive employment. The Technical College System of Georgia and Lanier Technical College is committed to assisting each student to achieve their maximum potential. All students applying to Lanier Technical College will be admitted after satisfying one of the Academic Criteria listed in this procedure. Students will then be advised and allowed to register in accordance to the academic standards applicable to their chosen program. In accordance with the Statement of Equal Opportunity, the System and Lanier Technical College will not discriminate in admissions.
