Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

WIOA provides assistance to adults (18 and older), youth (ages 16-24), and dislocated workers (18+, currently on unemployment, laid-off from previous employer, etc.) who meet program criteria. HOPE and Pell funds must be used first to pay tuition and fees before WIOA funds will be used. WIOA may assist with supportive services such as books and supplies, transportation, and childcare.
