Program Description

The Electrical Utility Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree program is a sequence of courses designed to meet the needs of the student interested in attaining entry-level knowledge and skill necessary to work in the electrical utility industry. The program also provides the student with an avenue to pursue opportunities in other areas of the utility industry. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge, work ethics, and practical skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of electrical utility theory and practical application necessary for employment.

Admissions Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.

High school diploma or GED is required prior to admission.

(Official transcripts or GED scores must be submitted from all colleges and/or high schools attended for credit.)
