Accelerated Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program

PT21 - 202212

Due to the high volume of interest and limited clinical site locations for the Phlebotomy certificate program, we will not be accepting new students at this time.  This is only temporary.  Please check back on our website for updates. We apologize for the inconvenience but we also encourage students to research all of our healthcare programs, particularly the Medical Assisting program which also trains students on the skill of drawing blood.

Program Description

The Phlebotomy Technician technical certificate of credit educates students to collect and process blood and body fluids. Phlebotomy technicians typically work in concert with clinical laboratory personnel and other healthcare providers in hospitals or other healthcare facilities. Topics covered include human anatomy, anatomical terminology, venipuncture, and clinical practice.

Program Specific Information

Students will not be assigned to a clinical site unless these requirements have been met by the assigned due date.
