General Education Outcomes
Lanier Technical College identifies expected outcomes, assesses the extent to which it achieves these outcomes, and provides evidence of seeking improvement based on analysis of the results for student learning outcomes for collegiate-level general education outcomes.
Students should be able to:
-
Demonstrate critical thinking.
-
Communicate effectively orally and in writing, and/or through other modes of expression.
-
Use research, apply scientific reasoning and mathematical concepts, and employ creative techniques to solve problems.
-
Apply interpersonal, social, cultural, and global awareness and civic knowledge to problems.
The College annually collects assessment results for all sites and delivery modes to identify levels of student learning and develop strategies for seeking improvement.
