Basic DDC Installer Certificate Program

Program Description

The Direct Digital Controls (DDC) certificate program will provide graduates with a basic skill set that will prepare completers for entry-level assistant or apprenticeship opportunities in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industry. Students will be exposed to topics such as Data Cabling, National Electric Code (NEC) for low voltage system, use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) to manage energy use, and integration of BAS. Graduates may apply their edits towards completing the BAS AAS degree program.

This program is not eligible for the Pell Grant but may be eligible for Institutional and State Financial Aid.

Admissions Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required prior to admission. (Official transcripts or GED scores must be submitted from all colleges and/or high schools attended for credit.)

ACCUPLACER Testing, or submit SAT, ACT, COMPASS, or ASSET test scores.
