Student Identification Cards

Student ID Badge

It is the student's responsibility to have a photo ID badge issued at the beginning of the first semester enrolled at Lanier Technical College. Students only need one school-issued ID badge per academic program of study. Please email the following information from your Lanier Technical College Student Email Account to wgalloway@laniertech.edu and your ID Badge will be printed at your requested campus.

  • Legal first and last name
  • LTC Student ID Number (i.e., 910******)
  • Program of Study (i.e. interdisciplinary studies, welding, etc.)
  • Preferred campus to pick up your ID Badge
  • Take a NEW photo that meets the guidelines below:
    • Full front-facing, unfiltered color photo showing head and shoulders only (See the example below)Portrait of a Black man with a smiling expression against a plain light gray background.
    • The photo must be vertically aligned
    • Take your photo in front of a solid, light-colored background
    • Make sure your photo is not blurry and is taken in a room with plenty of light
    • Do not allow anything to cover your face
    • Do not submit group photos
    • Do not submit tiled/angled photos, or any AI-Enhanced photos
    • Do not submit any photos with filters or words
    • Photos not meeting the requirements will be rejected
    • Photos that are inappropriate will be reviewed by the Vice President of Student Affairs. Lanier Technical College and the Office of Student Affairs retain the right to refuse any photos that do not meet these requirements

Why does a student need a photo ID badge?

Student ID badges may be required to purchase books from the bookstore, to check out books/equipment from the library, take exams, participate in student activities on campus, or for allied health related clinical experiences in hospitals and other institutions.
