BUAS 2025 Networking for Energy Management
This course introduces advanced BAS network concepts used in LAN environment including web-based applications. Emphasis is placed on the set-up, and operation of network devices such as bridges, routers, control network gateways. Topics include: IP networks, ethernet, workstation, HMI, analysis tools, internet communications, internet protocols, wireless communications, network traffic, control routines, network performance, network security, baseline, data tables, data flow, energy management strategies, remote standards, tuning, commissioning, and documentation. Student use of software such as MS Visio, The Constructor, Multisim, is suggested.
